Rediscovering the 'Me' in 'Mumeeeeeee'

'I have always thought that there is no more fruitful source of family discontent than a housewife’s badly-cooked dinners and untidy ways'. (Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management, 1861)

Win Liz Earle Goodies

I recently wrote a review of Liz Earle skincare products. It was a glowing review and so is my skin. Check out the full details of my write up here.

You all liked the sound of this range so much that the Liz Earle people have very kindly offered to give one of my lovely readers (that's you), the chance to win an
Essentials Try-Me Kit (Cleanse & Polish, Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Moisturiser).

All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is leave a comment below with your answer to the following question:

What do you look for in your skincare and body care products when pregnant or nursing and for your baby?

The best response (judged by me) will be the winner. The competition will run until the end of this week. Good luck!

  1. Something that is all natural and won't break my extra sensitive skin out. Something that helps give my skin the extra elasticity it requires when the skin stretches. xx

  2. How exciting. It was imporatant to me that I put naural products without SLS or SLA on my body. It also needed to have a pleasent, but not overpowering smell, as my sence of smell was hightened thoughout my pregnancy.

Maxi and Mini had their first baths in Liz Earle Body Wash!

  3. Either a wonder-product that promises eternally youthful skin and the body of Angelina... or a light, natural product that doesn't aggravate my skin, with no ingredients that may be harmful to baby(s).

  4. Above all else a product which feels like it is going to replenish, nourish and be gentle while doing the seemingly impossible task of making me beautiful!!!

  5. A product that will help my skin stay soft, subtle, moisturised and radiant. Something to make my cheeks as soft and rosy as my baby's cheeks (which cheeks you choose is entirely up to you!)

  6. A product that feels soft on the skin. That does not smell strongly particularly when you have morning sickness and also that is suitable for sensitive skin as skin can change during pregnancy.

  7. Something that prevents stretch marks, smells nice but not too nice that I want to eat it. I want it to make my skin feel soft and glowing. If it could give me a nice tan and tone at the same time all the better. Oh and if it gets rid of cellulite then fab.

  9. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging and I like products that are fast to use - easy to dispense, quick to absorb, immediate results (I sound so impatient but I just don't get much time to spend on myself!)
For my baby I go for simple products with natural ingredients.
